Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals, primarily in private homes. Your main focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for those you care for by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their safety and well-being with dignity.

Duties

Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.

  • Implement and follow individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
  • Perform heavy lifting as needed to assist clients with mobility or transfers.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding client information.
  • Administer first aid when necessary and respond appropriately to emergencies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.

Experience

  • Must have a current HCA, lives Scan and have a current TB test within the last 90 days or will be getting one within 7 days of hire.
  • Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as nursing or working in assisted living is preferred.
  • Familiarity with care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
  • Basic cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals for clients.
  • Certification in first aid is a plus but not required; training may be provided.
  • A compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to enhancing the lives of those in your care.
