Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves developing new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and expanding our market presence through strategic territory management. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in B2B sales, management, and customer relationship building, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and driving revenue growth across designated territories. Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce, along with technical sales expertise, is highly valued.

Duties

  • Identify and generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and marketing strategies to expand the customer base.
  • Manage a defined territory by developing and executing strategic sales plans to meet or exceed targets.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations tailored to client needs to facilitate product understanding and upselling opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication, account management, and personalized service.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing terms effectively to close sales deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that support lead generation efforts.
  • Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce for tracking sales activities, managing customer data, and analyzing sales performance metrics.
  • Provide ongoing customer support post-sale to ensure retention and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements relevant to the products or services offered.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or related fields such as technology sales or retail sales.
  • Strong management skills with the ability to handle territory management and account growth strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • Familiarity with CRM software like Salesforce or other CRM tools for lead tracking and analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability in lead generation techniques including cold calling and direct sales approaches.
  • Ability to deliver compelling product demos and presentations tailored to diverse client needs.
  • Analytical skills to assess market data, identify opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving sales goals in a competitive environment.
