Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the ability to create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment. This role involves caring for children, facilitating their development, and ensuring their well-being while providing peace of mind to parents.

*Part time with the possibility of being full time*

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Assist children with daily routines including meals, hygiene, and playtime.
  • Provide guidance in behavior management and conflict resolution among children.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies or medical situations; administer first aid as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other childcare staff to ensure a cohesive approach to caregiving.

Skills

  • Experience working with students or children in various settings
  • First aid certification is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with children and parents alike.
  • Ability to create engaging activities that cater to different age groups.
  • Experience in caregiving or classroom management is a plus.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children are crucial traits for success in this role.
