Escapology is looking for a skilled CNC Operator to join our creative workshop. In this role, you won't just be cutting materials; you'll be bringing our immersive adventures to life. Your precision work will be the foundation of the puzzles and props that thrill thousands of players across North America. Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:

  • Bring Designs to Life: Operate our CNC routers to precisely cut intricate parts for escape room props from materials like plywood, MDF, and acrylic. You'll transform digital files into the core components of our games.
  • Design & Tool Pathing: Take an active role in our digital workflow. You'll help create and modify CNC files, develop efficient tool paths, and ensure our designs are optimized for production.
  • Own Your Workspace: Keep our CNC machines and systems in peak condition through regular maintenance and cleaning. You'll also manage the organization of raw materials and finished parts, ensuring a smooth and efficient production flow.
  • Be a Key Team Player: Collaborate with our carpenters and creative teams, offering your expertise to solve fabrication challenges. You'll also assist with inventory and material purchasing to keep the workshop running smoothly.
  • Sitewide Responsibilities: Take part in company-wide initiatives, projects, and operational duties that keep the facility running at its best while also helping other departments when dictated by the needs of the business.

Your Skills & Experience (The Toolkit You Bring):

We're looking for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude and a love for precision work.

  • Required: 1+ years of hands-on experience operating CNC routers.
  • Required: Proven experience with CNC drafting and tool pathing software (e.g., Autodesk Fusion 360, VCarve Pro, Aspire).
  • A knack for keeping machines happy through routine maintenance and servicing.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality control. You take pride in your work.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 35-50 lbs as needed.
