TQI Solutions is actively seeking a collaborative and skilled Financial Analyst II to join our dedicated team. As a key contributor, you will provide crucial support to our esteemed client located in Norfolk, VA.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with a team of analysts to automate complex business processes, ensuring all customer requirements are met within the specified time frame.

  • Must be able to assess products and procedures for compliance with government standards, accounting principles, and multi-tier system application standards

  • Must be able to grasp interrelationships between financial management requirements and automation solutions, considering the current system environment and the potential integration of added systems concurrently or later

  • Prepares milestone status reports and presentations for colleagues, subordinates, and end user representatives

  • Coordinates all aspects of complex financial application automation, requesting guidance only in extremely difficult situations. Completes objectives independently within the negotiated budget

This is an on-site full time, salaried, exempt position.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance-related major

  • Robust knowledge Financial Management, Financial Accounting, and US Navy Financial Systems

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge highly desired

  • Three years of relevant experience; MSC/US Navy experience strongly preferred

  • Experience with US Navy's ERP and Working Capital funding preferred

  • Experience with DoD, DON

The incumbent of this position will be subject to a background investigation and will be required to maintain a Government granted security clearance.
