Professional Structural Engineer (P.E.)
Location: Houston, TX

We're looking for an innovative Professional Structural Engineer (P.E.) who thrives in solving complex challenges related to industrial construction projects. This role is ideal for engineers with experience in oil & gas downstream construction projects, who can ensure structural stability, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop engineering standards.

What You'll Do:
  • Structural Analysis & Design: Evaluate structural stability, review foundation loads, and analyze load impact on base structures.
  • Project Engineering: Develop construction documents, prepare structural calculation books, and ensure engineering deliverables meet safety and efficiency standards.
  • Technical Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to optimize project execution and compliance.
  • Documentation & Standards Development: Maintain detailed records, refine engineering protocols, and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Field & Customer Support: Assist in installation-related engineering reviews, providing technical expertise as needed.
  • Proposal Support: Develop preliminary drawings and supporting calculations for concept validation in proposals.
What We're Looking For:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in structural design engineering, preferably in steel and concrete structures within a construction environment.
  • Experience with crane and construction hoist systems in oil & gas downstream construction projects.
  • Strong proficiency in foundation load analysis, stability evaluation, and structural calculations.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) – Required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and construction documentation.
  • Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings & specifications.
  • Strong communication skills – technical and non-technical – for collaboration with diverse teams.
