ROLE

We are looking for a talented and dedicated BIM Specialist interested in playing a pivotal role in the successful delivery of our diverse and high-quality commercial projects. This individual will collaborate closely with project teams to develop and maintain BIM standards, guidelines, and protocols, ensuring consistency and quality throughout the project lifecycle. This role will provide training and support to project team members on the use of BIM tools and techniques, helping to upskill the entire team. Additionally, this role will participate in the analysis and resolution of design and construction issues using BIM technologies and assist in the creation of project deliverables, ensuring all stakeholders have access to accurate and up-to-date information. This role will also serve as the on-site hands-on support for the firm's larger IT team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creating, managing, and implementing BIM models and processes within commercial architectural projects
  • Collaborating with project teams to ensure the accurate and efficient integration of BIM data and workflows
  • Utilizing BIM software tools, such as Autodesk Revit, to design, coordinate, and communicate project information
  • Developing and maintaining BIM standards, guidelines, and protocols to ensure consistency and quality
  • Providing training and support to project team members on the use of BIM tools and techniques
  • Participating in the analysis and resolution of design and construction issues using BIM technologies
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest BIM trends, technologies, and industry best practices
  • Assisting in the creation of project deliverables, such as 3D models, clash detection reports, and construction documents
  • Project Execution Plan
  • Collaborating with stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to facilitate effective communication and coordinate BIM-related activities
  • Support the IT team with additional hardware/software items as needed

REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate's degree and 3+ years of experience coordinating drafting production and producing plans, construction drawings, and details using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and other BIM software tools (360/cloud), as well as the ability to support teams in other design-related software (AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Newforma, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to create and manage BIM models, Families and Templates
  • Knowledge of BIM standards, guidelines, and best practices
  • Strong training, communication and collaboration skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest BIM trends and technologies
