Busy multi-specialty practice looking for full time Medical Assistants.

Must be flexible to work in multiple site locations within Putnam County. Work week is Monday to Friday and one Saturday a month.

Responsibilities

  • Interview patients and document basic medical history
  • Take vital signs, perform EKG's
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Address voicemails
  • Arrange laboratory services
  • Assist during medical examinations
  • Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments

Skills

  • Proven working experience as a medical assistant
  • Phlebotomy experience a plus
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Social perceptiveness and service oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • BLS Certification
  • EMR experience a plus

Summary

As a Medical Assistant, you will be essential in delivering high-quality patient care and administrative support within a healthcare setting. Reporting to the healthcare provider, your core skills in EHR systems, vital signs monitoring, and patient service will ensure efficient patient intake and care. Your BLS certification and knowledge of medical terminology will enhance your ability to assist in various areas.
