Program Summary

This mission is redefining how advanced geospatial and analytic systems are operated, secured, and sustained across the Intelligence Community. The team supports cloud-native, enterprise-scale environments that power critical GEOINT production, dissemination, and mission operations. Systems Administrators on this program oversee the heartbeat of these platforms—ensuring reliability, stability, security, and rapid response across complex hybrid-cloud architectures.

This is a high-impact operations environment that values technical leadership, proactive monitoring, security-first engineering, and automation-driven improvement. Your work ensures mission systems stay online, performant, protected, and ready to deliver intelligence at speed.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Take a technical leadership role in implementing system changes, improvements, and updates across mission cloud environments.
  • Collaborate directly with government and contractor stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and respond to security findings.
  • Proactively monitor all operational systems and perform advanced system health checks.
  • Deploy security patches, system updates, and bug fixes across test and production environments.
  • Maintain and update critical mission databases with new data inputs.
  • Author and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and security artifacts.
  • Provide advanced installation, configuration, administration, and sustainment support for cloud-deployed systems.
  • Support both Linux and Windows–based environments to ensure full stack system availability.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI and CI Polygraph.
  • DoD 8570-compliant certification (Security+ or equivalent/higher).
  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master's with 6–10 years.
  • Experience working with AWS or other cloud technologies.
  • Advanced Linux administration experience (RHEL 7 or higher).
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server environments.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering, software development, and sustainment practices.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute tasks to completion.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proactive, self-driven approach with strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ArcGIS/ESRI automation and deployments.
  • Understanding of RDS, SQL technologies, and database operations.
  • AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Developer certification(s).
  • Experience with IC cloud architecture methodologies.
  • Experience administering collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, or RocketChat.
  • Knowledge of Apache NiFi, Python machine learning tools, unstructured text parsing, and Tomcat.
