  • Assessment and Goal Setting
  • Comprehensive Client Assessment: Perform detailed evaluations to assess clients' physical, cognitive, sensory, and emotional needs, identifying goals and challenges related to daily and work-related activities.
  • Personalized Goal Setting: Work collaboratively with clients to set individualized treatment goals that reflect their specific needs and aspirations, promoting autonomy and enhancing quality of life.
  • Treatment and Client Support
  • Comprehensive Treatment Planning and Intervention: Develop and implement customized, evidence-based treatment plans that build functional skills for daily and work activities, integrate diverse therapeutic techniques to support physical, cognitive, sensory, and emotional health, and equip clients with adaptive strategies to maximize independence and participation in their functional environments.
  • Client and Family Education: Educate clients and their families on strategies for fostering independence, managing challenges, and sustaining progress beyond therapy
  • Ongoing Progress Tracking: Regularly monitor and evaluate client progress, adapting treatment plans as needed to ensure effective outcomes and goal achievement.
  • Collaboration and Supervision
  • COTA Supervision: Provide oversight and guidance to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), ensuring quality care, regulatory compliance, and alignment with individualized treatment goals.
  • Student Supervision: Mentor occupational therapy students during fieldwork, fostering clinical skill development and ensuring compliance with supervision and accreditation standards.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Licensure:
  • State licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.
  • Experience:
  • Previous experience in occupational therapy is preferred.

  • Ability to build rapport and trust with clients and their families.
  • Ethical conduct and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
  • Technical Skills:
