About the role:

As a Senior Civil Structural Engineer you will support civil and structural design activities like structural systems evaluation for steel members, reinforced concrete and composite steel, resolving technical issues for design of building structures.

You will report to the Manager of BOP Design and Module Fabrication Support for Building Engineering & Physical Design. You will work a hybrid scenario at the discretion of the manager based in Rock Hill, SC..

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop infrastructure projects, such as roads, bridges, and buildings, ensuring safety and efficiencyConduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specificationsEvaluate structural systems like steel members, reinforced concrete, composite steelResolve technical issues for building structure design, fabrication , assembly and construction phasesTechnical justification for design changes and emergent issues and troubleshootingOn-site support at utilities, sites and smaller projectsUse ANSYS, LS-DYNA, GTSTRUDLMaintain software compliance records and closure of engineering corrective actionsLearn industry civil/structural codes and standards like ACI, AISC, ASCE and AWSSketches and markups using AutoCAD or similar CADDocument design change proposals, document revisions, new documents and drawing generationQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in civil or structural Engineering5+ years of experience civil/structuralCivil/structural evaluations, design engineeringInterested in nuclear and interested in pursuing FE/EIT, PE certificationTools such as ANSYS, LS-DYNA, GTSTRUDL or similar

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $85,200 to $106,500 per year.
