Job Summary

We are a family-owned company seeking reliable CDL class A drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering freight across the state of New York. Candidate will spend three days a week driving into the city & three days a week driving to upstate NY. This position requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage routes effectively. ELD exempt. High pay.

Responsibilities

  • Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules.
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and maintenance records.
  • Perform routine inspections on vehicles before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicle.

Experience

  • Proven experience in truck driving or commercial driving is essential.
  • Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers a plus.
  • Experience as a delivery driver is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and route driving logistics.
