Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Neptune, This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, with experience in industrial maintenance and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems. You will work with programmable logic controllers, HVAC systems, and other critical equipment to maintain high operational standards.

Duties

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and electrical components.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities.
  • Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
  • Read and interpret schematics to diagnose problems effectively.
  • Operate scissor lifts and other equipment safely as needed for maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with technical sales teams to provide customer service support when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or in a similar maintenance role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications.
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and HVAC systems is highly desirable.
  • Ability to read schematics and perform analysis on mechanical systems.
  • Welding skills, particularly welding techniques, are a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
