What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the location.
• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activities within the logistics and distribution environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, engaging appropriate emergency response activities when necessary.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential issues and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and/or reports of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities.
• Collaborate with site staff and visitors to provide information and assistance as needed, supporting the overall security-related objectives of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
