Assistant Property Manager (Commercial Real Estate experience required)

A respected Houston-based commercial real estate firm is seeking a qualified
Assistant Property Manager
to join its growing team. This position supports a diverse portfolio of assets and plays an integral role in day-to-day operations, financial oversight, and tenant relations. The firm is known for its collaborative culture, commitment to internal growth, and long-standing reputation in the Houston market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing annual operating and capital budgets
  • Support monthly financial reporting, including invoice coding and expense tracking
  • Coordinate tenant move-ins, communications, and ongoing service requests
  • Maintain accurate records of tenant information, COIs, and warranties
  • Conduct property inspections and assist with preventative maintenance programs
  • Liaise with third-party vendors and oversee work authorizations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience within commercial real estate
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Yardi or other property management platforms is advantageous
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
