Food Expeditor

Juliet's Tavern is a warmly refined, classic American tavern located in the heart of downtown Joliet. We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented Expo to join our Front of House team. Position Overview

The Expo is the communication bridge between the kitchen and the dining room. You'll ensure every dish leaving the line is accurate, beautifully presented, and delivered promptly. This role is essential to maintaining our high standards of service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality, accuracy, and presentation before dishes leave the line
• Coordinate tickets between BOH and FOH
• Communicate clearly and efficiently with cooks and servers
• Run food to tables when needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo window and pass
• Assist with garnishing and final touches
• Support servers and management to ensure smooth service flow
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines

What We're Looking For

• Prior expo/food runner experience required
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Ability to stay calm and focused during high-volume shifts
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and attentive to detail
• Ability to stand for long periods

Schedule

• Evenings and weekends required
• Flexible scheduling available
• Shifts typically between 4pm–10pm
