Gemstone Builders is currently hiring an experienced Salesman/Estimator for the South Florida areas.
POSITION SUMMARY
Building client relationships, securing new orders from new customer, and maintaining business with existing client base.
Create detailed proposals with pictures and detailed notes
Work and Collaborate with our production team, who oversee the projects
Communicates proactively and responds in a timely manner to clients
You will spend 70% of your time in the flied and 30% of your time in the office.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
*Minimum of 5 years' outside sales experience is required
*Experience in the construction industry and/or staffing is strongly preferred
*Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to multi-task
*This position will also require some office work, such as writing and submitting weekly reports and spreadsheets.
*MUST be comfortable cold-calling potential clients in the field. This position is responsible for selling construction staffing to large construction companies.
*Proficient using and understand multiple software platform (Apple, PC, cloud-based)
*Ability to read plans
*Ability to figure scope of work numbers rapidly
*Ability to occasionally climb a ladder to inspect work
*Based on Traveling Arrangements, MUST have a Clean driving record and valid driver's license
*Ability to listen and articulate findings
*Ability to close sale
*Ability to Estimate Scope of Work

Monday Through Friday 9 am to 5 pm.
