Fabian Oil is seeking a full-time or part-time dedicated and customer-focused Convenience Store Clerk to join our team. As a Convenience Store Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy engaging with customers and working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Ring up purchases accurately and efficiently using the cash register.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store shelves, displays, and products.
  • Monitor and restock inventory to ensure availability of products.
  • Handle customer complaints and provide resolutions in a timely manner.
  • Follow all safety and security procedures while on duty.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Full-Time Schedule:

  • 5 days/week
  • 1:00-9:30pm
  • Weekdays and weekends

Part-Time Schedule:

  • 3 days/week
  • 1:00-9:30pm
  • Weekdays and weekends

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or retail is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
  • Knowledge of safety and security protocols in a retail setting

The ideal candidate for this role must be at least 21 years old, present a professional appearance, and be able to stand for long periods with frequent movement. The job requires lifting and stocking heavy items in the cooler, as well as flexibility in working hours and days, including staying late or filling in for others when needed. Additionally, the associate must be able to work under pressure during peak hours and be willing to take on additional tasks during slow periods, such as cleaning projects like fuel pump cleaning, sweeping, and restocking merchandise.
