Duties

  • Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, including compounding and labeling prescriptions accurately.
  • Manage medication inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and proper storage conditions.
  • Support patient intake processes by verifying prescription details and clarifying medication instructions.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of medication administration, including critical care and acute care settings.
  • Provide exceptional patient service by answering medication-related questions and coordinating with healthcare teams to optimize patient care.

Skills

  • Proven pharmacy technician experience with a strong understanding of medical terminology and medication management.
  • Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately.
  • Familiarity with intake procedures, medication administration protocols, and hospital pharmacy operations.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced healthcare settings while maintaining attention to detail.
