Appliance Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Appliance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in appliance repair and have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. This role involves working both independently and as part of a team, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring that all appliances are repaired to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a variety of household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens.
• Read and interpret schematics to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform repairs and maintenance on various appliances.
• Drive a box truck to deliver and pick up appliances as needed, ensuring safe transport.
• Provide field service support, addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
• Collaborate with other technicians to improve processes and share knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing repairs.

Skills

• Proficient in appliance repair with hands-on experience in troubleshooting various models.
• Strong understanding of schematics and technical manuals related to appliance systems.
• Mechanical knowledge that includes assembly and equipment repair capabilities.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver is a plus for transporting appliances safely.
• Familiarity with refrigeration systems is highly desirable.
• Field service experience that demonstrates the ability to work independently in diverse environments.
• Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and address their needs.
• Basic HVAC knowledge is beneficial for certain appliance repairs.
