Set up and operate special-purpose, CNC machines and maching centers, including lathes, mills, boring and griding machines, or 3 ton tandem press, to machine metallic workplaces according to specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret specifications and instructions for production.
  • Set up machine to specifications.
  • Select controls to position tools and workplace, and set specified feeds, speeds, depth of cut.
  • Observe operation and verify conformance of workplace to specifications.
  • Maintain work area and related tools
