About The Role
Platinum Therapy is seeking a dedicated
DHH Specialist
to provide specialized educational support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing. This position plays a vital role in ensuring students have full access to their education and communication needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and consultative services to students with hearing impairments
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Support communication through sign language or assistive technology
- Advocate for students' needs in the classroom and school community
Requirements
Valid DHH Specialist credential or equivalent
Experience In School Settings Preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
$55-$70/hr Commensurate with Experience
