About the Opportunity**

You'll play a key role in supporting legal and regulatory functions across the organization, including contract oversight, vendor documentation, legal filings, and managing wage garnishments and levies. This role requires someone who can confidently interact with executives, partner across multiple business divisions, and maintain high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assist with reviewing, organizing, executing, and maintaining contracts, including vendor agreements, amendments, and NDAs.
  • Support vendor management processes by tracking contracts, renewals, compliance documents, and key deadlines.
  • Process and manage wage garnishments, levies, subpoenas, and other legal orders in accordance with applicable laws.
  • Prepare, file, and maintain legal and regulatory documentation with precision and timeliness.
  • Keep legal files, records, and contract repositories organized and up to date.
  • Coordinate document execution and notarization as needed.
  • Support responses to regulatory exams, audits, and legal inquiries by compiling and organizing required materials.
  • Interact professionally with executive leadership, internal departments, outside counsel, and third parties.
  • Conduct legal research, draft correspondence, and assist with special projects as assigned.

What They're Looking For

  • Paralegal Certificate from an accredited program.
  • 3+ years of paralegal experience in a community bank, financial institution, or law firm supporting financial services.
  • Hands-on experience with contract review, vendor documentation, legal filings, wage garnishments, levies, and similar functions.
  • Strong MS Office skills and comfort working with documents, spreadsheets, and tracking tools.
  • Highly polished communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with leadership across divisions.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort meeting deadlines in a regulated environment.
  • High level of discretion and integrity when handling sensitive or confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Notary Public certification.
  • Experience supporting regulatory exams or internal/external audits.
  • Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance requirements.
