Major Duties
What to Expect
Responsible for a variety of duties to include opening and closing the facility, maintaining and cleaning the facility, grounds, and equipment, and ensuring all guests are properly greeted and checked in.
Carries out assigned phases of designated activity applying an understanding of the interest and needs of program participants.
Helps to plan and coordinate details of recreational activities and maintains related supplies.
Assists in planning, scheduling and publicizing activities to attract and motivate participants.
Maintains routine reports and/or performs clerical, custodial and/or general maintenance duties.
May operate a computer and cash register, receive payments and make change.
Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What are we looking for?
Minimum two-year experience in customer service, preferably in a related recreational activity.
Skill to demonstrate activities and use of related facility equipment.
Skill to learn applicable MCCS policies and procedures.
Ability to acquire CPR and First Aid certification within 6 months of employment is required.
May be required to obtain and maintain a National Agency Check with Inquiries and State Criminal History Repository Check (CNACI) background checks which are required for positions that involve working with children under 18 years of age.

Military Spouses
Furnish a copy of the PCS order identifying a dependents-authorized move and the sponsor's reporting date to the new duty location.

Veterans Copy of DD214 citing general or honorable discharge.
