Who You Are

You are a confident, warm, and organized leader who loves early childhood education and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You genuinely enjoy supporting teachers, partnering with families, and making sure the center runs smoothly each day.

You have:

  • 2 or more years of experience in a licensed childcare or early childhood education setting, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of child development and best practices in early childhood education.
  • A proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate staff in a positive, professional way.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
  • The ability to meet state licensing requirements for a Childcare Center Director (or be able to obtain within a specified timeframe).
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

What You'll Do

As the Director at Kids R Kids Liberty Hill, you will oversee the overall leadership and daily operations of the center. You'll be responsible for supporting your team, ensuring compliance, and maintaining strong relationships with families.

In this role, you will:

Lead & Develop the Team

  • Lead, coach, and mentor teachers and staff to create a high-quality, nurturing learning environment.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop new team members.
  • Conduct regular observations, feedback conversations, and performance check-ins.
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative workplace culture.

Manage Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure the center runs smoothly and safely.
  • Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations, Kids R Kids policies, and health and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting.
  • Support classroom coverage when needed and model best practices in classroom management and child engagement.

Support Curriculum & Quality

  • Ensure curriculum is implemented with fidelity and is engaging and age-appropriate.
  • Partner with teachers on lesson planning, classroom environment, and child assessments.
  • Plan and implement ongoing professional development and training.

Build Family & Community Relationships

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with families through regular communication and visibility.
  • Address parent questions, concerns, and feedback in a timely, supportive manner.
  • Conduct center tours and represent Kids R Kids Liberty Hill in the community.

Drive Enrollment & Business Health

  • Support enrollment, retention, and waitlist management to meet center goals.
  • Assist with budgeting, staffing plans, scheduling, and other administrative duties as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48, $65,000.00 per year
