  • Establish systems and data quality standards, resolve quality issues, and lead continuous improvement efforts.
  • Oversee systems and data security and compliance, including access controls, encryption, and regular audits.
  • Implement processes to manage data lineage, metadata, and business glossaries.
  • Develop data modeling tools for accounting, such as content amortization and royalties estimation models.

Crunchyroll follows a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office) and reports directly to the Chief Accounting Officer. We are considering candidates based in Los Angeles, CA or Dallas, TX — with relocation assistance available.

About You
  • 15+ years of progressive systems leadership experience including 7+ years in accounting or finance
  • CPA license (active or inactive) with at least 1 year in Public accounting
  • Experience with SOX/internal controls, U.S. GAAP, and global financial operations (EMEA, APAC, LATAM).
  • Track record building financial systems transformation and data governance programs.
  • Expertise in process automation, systems standardization, and data quality improvement.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP implementations or upgrades
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks (DAMA-DMBOK, DCAM) and metadata management tools.
