Position Overview
The IT Solution Delivery Intern will support Project Managers and Scrum Masters to ensure business objectives are met and accomplished on time, within budget and meeting quality standards. An intern's role in our group will be two-fold: assisting with tasks listed below while learning, shadowing, and being mentored and encouraged by senior colleagues. This person will work with cross-functional teams to deliver smaller-scale projects and improvements.
This position will be primarily in-office based out of our location at 1 Exact Lane in Madison, WI. This is a paid internship that will take place over 12 weeks in Summer 2026.
Essential Duties
include but are not limited to the following:
- Support Project Managers or Scrum Masters to accomplish team goals and deliver value.
- Act as a problem solver to drive decisions.
- Assist project or agile teams in connecting with stakeholders and planning for team meetings.
- Prepare status reports and modify schedules and plans as required.
- Keep management, team, and business areas informed of project status and related issues.
- Coordinate and respond to requests for changes from original specifications.
- Follow established project management and agile practices, including management of scope, requirements, issues, and risks.
- Create project schedule and utilize the schedule to communicate and manage the work.
- Ensure that all required project management or agile deliverables are created and accurate.
- Prepare project for governance gate approvals.
- Establish positive working relationships with stakeholders and team members.
- Partner with project and agile teams to help define the objectives and employ the right level of governance and process.
- Assist teams in development of process maps, value stream maps and root cause analyses.
- Assist in portfolio management tool process improvements and data integrity.
- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple competing priorities.
- Successful with oral and written communications/presentations; ability to influence and persuade.

- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 80% of a typical working day.
- Ability to grasp with both hands; pinch with thumb and forefinger; turn with hand/arm; reach above shoulder height.
- Ability and means to travel between Madison locations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or a related discipline.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.
