Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and overhaul automatic and manual Ford transmission systems
  • Inspect, replace, and service internal components and perform transmission fluid services
  • Road-test vehicles and verify repairs using OEM diagnostic tools
  • Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding repair recommendations and timelines
  • Perform warranty repairs to Ford and manufacturer specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow dealership safety standards

Qualifications

  • 4+ years automotive technician experience required
  • Transmission experience highly preferred
  • Ford Certification preferred — not required
  • Diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair skills (B-level or higher preferred)
  • Ability to use OEM and aftermarket diagnostic equipment
  • Positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and eagerness to learn
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
