What We're Looking For

Proven Leadership: You've been the go-to engineering lead, comfortable managing engineers,

setting technical direction, and translating business strategy into actionable engineering

roadmaps.

Full-Stack & Systems Depth: You understand how to build resilient, scalable platforms (think

services, APIs, data pipelines) and you're not afraid to dive into code when needed.

Product & UX Collaboration: You've partnered with Product Managers and UX teams to shape

feature strategy, scope, and technical feasibility, working cross-functionally to deliver on time

and on budget.

Mentorship Mindset: You're passionate about developing engineers: giving feedback, helping

set career pathways, promoting ownership, and professional growth.

Tech-First Yet Pragmatic: You know when to push for microservices or advanced architecture,

and when to ship smartly for speed and business value.

Responsibilities You'll Own

● Define and communicate the engineering vision, roadmap, and KPIs in alignment with

business goals.

● Organize, lead, and empower the team by conducting regular check-ins, performance

reviews, and career conversations.

● Work alongside Product, UX, and Stakeholders to define priorities, shape features, refine

MVPs, and ensure high-quality delivery.

● Drive engineering best practices: code reviews, continuous integration/deployment,

automated testing, monitoring, and alerting.

● Oversee system architecture to ensure the scalability, reliability, and maintainability of

our platforms.

● Act as a bridge between technical execution and business strategy. You'll be the voice

for engineering, translating complex ideas into clear explanations for stakeholders.

What You Bring to the Table

● 7+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2-3 years in a leadership

role (Tech Lead / Engineering Manager).

● Hands-on experience building and shipping full-stack products (frontend + backend +

data).

● Strong track record in architecting services/APIs, and familiarity with cloud environments

(AWS/GCP/Azure).

● Excellent communication skills: you'll translate technical constraints into business

contexts, and coach the team to do the same.

● A drive for continuous improvement: you set high standards, but you also know how to

balance ambition with practicality.
