Responsibilities
Position Summary
The Computer Support Specialist I (CSS I) performs basic level software installations with main focus on hardware setups and troubleshooting of computer hardware. The CSS I is responsible for maintaining the call center and remote support for our customers.

Qualifications
Qualifications

  • Ability for abstract reasoning and a talent for explaining the abstractions in concrete terms.
  • Ability to empathize with people of many backgrounds functioning at any staff or operational level in the hierarchy of the hospital.
  • Ability to communicate effectively when presenting recommendations, tactful when identifying existing managerial problem areas, and patient and meticulous in implementation.
  • Ability to recognize, analyze and resolve hardware, software, and network problems.
  • Able to travel 25% of time. Must be able to move between facilities as needed
  • Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS's Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.

Education / Licensure

  • Associates Degree in related field required; or 1 year experience in a customer service IT environment in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in computer hardware, software or system support
  • Knowledge in computer hardware & software
