About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Queens, NY team. The CNA will provide direct, compassionate care to patients, supporting nurses and physicians in delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily personal care, including feeding, bathing, and mobility.
  • Take vital signs and report abnormal results to supervising staff.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems.
  • Support patient intake and assist during emergencies as directed.
  • Ensure compliance with facility safety, hygiene, and infection control policies.
  • Handle patient interactions with empathy, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Participate in regular staff meetings and training programs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Completion of State-approved CNA program (required)
  • Active New York CNA certification in good standing
  • CPR certification required or obtained within orientation period
  • Prior nursing home or hospital experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
