Assistant Teacher/Floater

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher/Floater to join our Kids R Kids North Brunswick Team
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
This role involves supporting lead teachers in delivering engaging lessons, managing classroom behavior, and providing care for students in various educational settings, including daycare, private schools, and special education environments.
Responsibilities (including, not limited to)
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.
- Provide care and supervision for toddlers and young children in a safe environment.
- Support students with diverse needs, ensuring an inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Help manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavior.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive team dynamic.
Skills (including, not limited to)
- Experience working with children (required)
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for teaching children.
- Flexibility to adapt to various classroom situations and student needs.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 32 per week
