Job Details

Monitor heart rhythms:

Report issues: They act as a critical link between the patient and the medical staff by alerting nurses or physicians to any irregularities detected on the monitors.

Set up and maintain equipment: They are responsible for setting up the heart rate monitors on patients and performing basic maintenance on the machines to ensure they are working correctly.

Document and communicate: They record patient data and communicate findings to the care team.

Provide basic patient care: They may assist with other routine procedures and answer targeted questions from patients.

Job Description

  • Manage device clinic operations, including interrogation of cardiac devices in-office.
  • Troubleshoot and adjust pacemaker, ICD, and loop recorder devices as needed.
  • Retrieve and interpret remote transmissions from implanted devices.
  • Document clinical notes with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate and schedule clinics, new device implants, and generator changes.
