We are seeking a few caring and dedicated early childhood professionals to join our Young Wonders team. In these roles, you will help shape a child's earliest learning experiences by providing a warm, supportive space where exploration is encouraged, independence is celebrated, and every child's unique identity is honored.

If you love being hands-on, building meaningful connections with families, and contributing to a program rooted in high-quality care, developmental best practices, and Conscious Discipline principles, this is a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impact during the most important years of a child's life.

Key Responsibilities:

5. Interact with the children and encourage their involvement in activities.

6. Observe, record, and report significant individual and group behavior.

7. Use appropriate and positive discipline techniques with children based on Dr. Becky Bailey's Conscious Discipline philosophy. Training will be provided.

8. Establish and maintain good communication with parents on a daily informal basis.

9. Assist classroom staff with meeting and maintaining a satisfactory score on the Environment Rating Scale.

10. Maintain necessary records and files.

11. Develop appropriate relationships with children of diverse backgrounds by treating all children with dignity and respect and by considering the child in relationship to his or her cultural and socio-economic background.

12. Participate in staff meetings, in service training, conferences, etc. as necessary.

13. Manage toileting needs of children including changing diapers when necessary.

14. Any other tasks or duties in which the job requires.

  • Reports to the lead teacher on all matters regarding staff, children, parents, or program.
  • Reports to the lead teacher regarding any issues concerning lesson plans and implementation of curriculum.
  • Reports to the Director or Assistant Director on any matters requiring further assistance.
  • Reports to the Executive Director regarding any matters not sufficiently addressed by Assistant Director or Director. Include Director when appropriate.
