Gromax Precision is a "Class A" Tool and Die Making company. For 50 years, we have designed and built precision tools for customers around the world. Just a few of the industries we serve include military, medical, aerospace and electrical.

We are seeking a Journeyman Tool & Die Maker to join our team. Our facility is unique in that each toolmaker leads his/her project from start to finish through all phases and manufacturing requirements.

Our Toolmakers build and repair gauges, jigs, fixtures, and construct progressive metal stamping dies to shape metal in stamping operations. We have a great work environment where we help each other and hold each other accountable.

Compensation commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage and construct intricate tools, dies, fixtures, and gages to close tolerances from a set of prints
  • Setup and operate machine Mills, Lathes, Horizontal Grinders and various hand tools to produce precision parts
  • Be a positive influence on your coworkers and contribute to a great work environment

Qualifications:

  • Ability to machine and "grind square" to 0.0001" " tolerances.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
  • Problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to focus
  • Be a good person, that others want to be around

Pay: $60, $100,000.00 per year
