Airline Duty Manager

Position: Sr Duty Manager

Location: Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG)

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Based on the Needs of the Operation – nights, weekend and holidays are required

About the role

We are seeking a highly competent Sr Duty Manager to oversee and manage our passenger and air cargo operations at Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG).

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound passenger and freight, coordinating with commercial airlines and freight forwarders, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining excellent customer service.

As an Sr Duty Manager, you should have in-depth knowledge of passenger and cargo handling operations, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

· Oversee and manage all passenger and air cargo operations

· Ensure compliance with national and international passenger and cargo regulations

· Coordinate with commercial and freight forwarders, airlines, and customs agents

· Manage airline team to ensure efficient and safe operations

· Implement and monitor security procedures to safeguard our operations .

· Maintain excellent customer service standards

· Develop and implement operational improvements

· Prepare and manage budgets

· Manage documentation related to air operations

· Coordinate maintenance and repair of Ground handling equipment

Qualifications

· Proven experience as an Sr Duty Manager or similar role

· 5+ years of experience in airport operations, aviation ground handling, or airline station support

· Excellent knowledge of international cargo regulations and procedures

· Strong leadership and decision-making skills

· Strong knowledge of FAA, TSA, and airport operational protocols

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Problem-solving aptitude

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Understanding of budgeting and performance management

· Proven ability to lead and collaborate across ramp and passenger service departments

· Flexible schedule with the ability to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

· Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field

· Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass all airport security background checks
