Field Service Diesel Technician Opportunity Summary
Field Diesel Technicians are responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and diagnosing both routine maintenance and emergency services while making repair recommendations to customers. This position will work with other technicians to ensure all work scheduled is performed safely and to the customer's satisfaction.

Job Duties

  • Perform quality repairs and maintenance on Diesel Engines/Heavy Duty Trucks as specified in manufacturer-designed procedures.
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork (e.g., repair information on work orders, information for state and emission inspections) promptly.
  • Diagnose failure of vehicles by disassembling, repairing, and reassembling parts.
  • Dedication and adherence to all Company and industry safety standards.
  • Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other vital parts to ensure that our customers are in proper operating conditions.

Work Experience & Qualifications

  • 3+ Years of diesel repair and maintenance experience in a heavy truck/ fleet dealership or shop environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of multiple systems (e.g., A/C, brake, emission, air), diagnostics, and troubling shooting diesel engines.
  • Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willing to work on call and irregular hours on the roadside in all weather conditions.
