Celprogen Inc., founded in 2002, is a biotechnology company developing stem cell research and therapeutic products for regenerative medicine, cardiology, oncology, diabetes and neurology. All of Celprogen's biological products, including stem cells, cancer stem cells, iPCs, media, and pre-coated ECMs, are manufactured and produced here in the United States of America.

We are a small dedicated team of research scientists and professionals committed to developing and providing high-quality
molecular diagnostics and therapeutic product development solutions for biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, in-vitro diagnostics, and academic partnerships for drug discovery.

Role Description

The Research Associate will perform essential lab-based tasks, including routine maintenance of cell and tissue culture, aid in the manufacturing of Celprogen products, conduct experiments, and perform regular maintenance of laboratory equipment and protocols. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Torrance, CA.

Qualifications

  • Recent science graduates and individuals with a minimum of at least 1 year of research experience outside of university coursework.
  • Proven track record of good aseptic technique.
  • Proficiency in English writing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to follow specific protocols.
  • Good organizational skills and note-taking ability.
  • Prior experience in tissue culture or Real-time PCR strongly preferred
