Project Engineer/Project Manager - Sacramento, CA

Twining Inc., an innovative engineering, testing, and inspection Company, is seeking a Project Engineer/Project Manager for its Sacramento office. Under the direct supervision of the Branch Manager, this position will involve both technical engineering assignments and project management. It is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is looking to make an immediate impact and for a candidate looking to grow within the organization.

Responsibilities include:

  • Engineering Manager Overseeing any and all DSA and HCAi projects.
  • Oversee and managing Field and laboratory construction materials testing services.
  • Provide directions and technical assistance to field personnel.
  • Single point of contact and responsible for all the aspects of projects.
  • Review of field and laboratory reports.
  • Documentation and handling of nonconformance items.
  • Billing and budget management.
  • Aid with collections to projects that are under Norther California Operations.
  • Communication with all project teams and periodic/consistent site visits.
  • Maintain strong client relationships.

Required Competencies:

  • CA PE License required.
  • 5 Years of experience in Engineering supervision, construction quality control, civil/geotechnical engineering.
  • Strong background on structural special inspections.
  • Experience with overseeing materials testing and structural inspections is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate clearly with coworkers, clients and potential clients.
  • Ability to maintain company established utilization goals.
