What You'll Do:

• Control access to the location by verifying credentials and authorizations of personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering or exiting the premises.
• Monitor points of entry and exit to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Provide customer service by assisting individuals with directions, information, and access-related inquiries in a professional manner.
• Carry out site-specific policies, security-related procedures, and respond to emergencies as appropriate for the location.
• Document and report all incidents, irregularities, and/or unusual activity at access points to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel.
• Work collaboratively with logistics and distribution staff to support security-related operations and maintain the flow of authorized personnel and vehicles.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach, following established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
