Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
• Handle cash register transactions using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate cash handling and sales recording.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing inquiries promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas, including food handling and serving practices.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality.
• Assist with food preparation tasks to support café operations, including assembling snacks or light meals.
• Uphold food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures to guarantee a safe environment for staff and customers.

Skills

• Proven experience as a barista with strong coffee-making skills and familiarity with café operations.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, food preparation techniques, and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail or food industry environment while maintaining professionalism. Pay: $ $30.49 per hour

Expected hours: 6.0 – 30.0 per week
