Job Requirements:

This position will support the IP Practice by engaging in the strategic development, procurement, and counseling of patent portfolios. Applicants should have focused experience in the following areas:

  • Drafting patent applications in computer-related fields (e.g., software, AI/ML, web applications, telecommunications, integrated circuits, etc.).
  • Prosecuting patent applications.

Candidates must be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. While a degree or advanced degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science is preferred, candidates with degrees in mechanical engineering or other relevant fields will also be considered. Strong experience in drafting complex software patent applications is a plus.

Candidates should have excellent academic credentials, be comfortable working directly with clients, and possess strong writing and analytical skills.
