Appleton Electric, an Emerson owned metal casting foundry located in South Milwaukee, WI, is currently seeking a Journeyman Pattern Maker to join our team. In this role you will repair and recondition a variety of patterns, core boxes and other related components.  The wage is $30.60/hour.

Some of the benefits for this position include a shift differential, overtime on hours worked over 8 hours in a day, prorated two weeks' vacation and up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave.

 In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Conduct all job duties with Safety as a priority and in compliance with Safety Rules
  • Comply with and maintain areas to 5S standards
  • Repair and recondition a variety of worn and damaged patterns, core boxes and other related components
  • Set up and operate all metal working equipment such as milling machines, lathes and drill presses
  • Make build-ups or fabricate patterns, core boxes and permanent molds made of various materials
  • Observe all company rules and regulations

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Journeyman Pattern Maker certification or equivalent experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to use a variety of hand tools
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to stand on feet for long periods, strength in arms and legs
