Purpose: We are seeking a highly capable and hands-on Production Supervisor to join our leadership team at a newly launched electrical transformer manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will help us build and lead our production operations. This is an exciting opportunity to shape standards, processes, and culture in a brand-new environment. 

Duties:

  • Lead, coach, and develop production employees to meet safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency targets.
  • Monitor workflows and adjust labor/resources to meet daily production schedules.
  • Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Enforce safety policies and 5S practices within assigned areas.
  • Review production KPIs and recommend improvements.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training as the team scales.
  • Support startup activities, including process documentation, equipment validation, and work instruction adherence.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • An open-minded and adaptive mindset suited for a startup manufacturing environment.
  • Flexible schedule - primarily 1st shift, but must be willing to work 2nd shift and weekends as needed.
  • 3+ years of supervisor experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience leading hourly production employees.
  • Familiarity with assembly, machining, or electrical/mechanical manufacturing preferred.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement principles.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and maintain safety, quality, and throughput.
