Position Overview
This is a unique opportunity for a mid-level HR professional to join a small, high-trust
environment and grow into a future HR leader. The right candidate will bring curiosity, emotional
intelligence, and adaptability, thriving in a role that blends hands-on HR responsibilities with
exposure to strategic people initiatives.
As an HR Generalist, you will help shape culture, support employees at all levels, and build
scalable processes that keep the firm operating smoothly. This is a career-building role for
someone who is proactive, humble, and eager to learn in a lean, people-centric environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence
● Own core HR processes, including recruiting, onboarding, and benefits administration
● Maintain compliance with employment laws and manage vendor relationships
● Partner with external counsel as needed on employment-related matters
Strategic & Cultural Initiatives
● Support performance management and engagement programs, including annual
reviews and culture-building initiatives
● Collaborate on employee handbook updates, policies, and process improvements
● Identify opportunities to improve the employee experience and enhance team
connectivity
Trusted Employee Partner
● Serve as a confidential and empathetic point of contact for employees at all levels
● Build trust across the firm by supporting both day-to-day needs and longer-term people
strategies
What We're Looking For
Core Experience
● 3–7 years in an HR generalist or People Operations role, ideally in financial services,
fintech, or professional services
● Proven track record in full-cycle recruiting, benefits/vendor management, and policy
development
● Working knowledge of U.S. employment law and ability to collaborate with external
counsel
● SHRM certification (or willingness to obtain)
