Technical Specialist - Mid Level (Remote)
for our premier client.

  • Java Certification.

Education And Experience »

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Math, or Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Experience programming in Java/JEE, Oracle, and XML for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Experience with Web Services, JSP, Servlets, Spring, Struts, Eclipse IDE, and version control tools for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Demonstrated ability in application analysis and design, cost analysis, estimating staffing needs, testing, documentation, and implementation for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Experience providing technical helpdesk support for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Must have proven experience with enterprise level software development programs.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
  • Effective communication in oral and written form.

Demonstrate These Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Visual C++, .NET, CORBA, EJB, and Hibernate.
  • Demonstrate effective communications in oral and written form. Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.

What You'll Do
Job Responsibilities:

  • Supports the DMV Crash Data Management and DOH Traffic Safety in collecting, analysis, and distribution of motor vehicle accident information.
  • Will be part of the application maintenance team serving as the technical specialist and consultant by independently managing complex Java projects and providing critical second level 24x7 on-call support.
  • Will work with Business Owners in the translation of customer requests into technical request and user stories, coordinates software release schedules with the Business and Technical Team, develops business requirements, and provides testing and training support.
