We have a big need for a Workers Compensation Attorney in Georgia.
This individual can sit at one of the offices located in Savannah, Atlanta, Macon, Brunswick, or Albany.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in handling workers' compensation cases and will be in good standing with the Georgia State Bar.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to advance your career in a supportive and challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a caseload of workers' compensation claims from inception through resolution, including case preparation, legal research, and drafting of motions and briefs.
- Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and administrative proceedings before the GA State Board of Workers' Compensation.
- Maintain constant communication throughout the case lifecycle.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Negotiate settlements and work with insurance companies, employers, and other parties to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
- Prepare and file all necessary legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Stay current on changes in workers' compensation law and regulations, ensuring all practices and case handling are in compliance with GA law.
