Position: Repair/Debug Technician
Department: Production Engineering Department Service Department
Job Description: The Repair/Debug Technician is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and testing to the component level. This role requires a strong understanding of electronic principles, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality, reliable repairs. This role reports to Project Manager.
Responsibility:
· Use technical manuals and engineering instructions to identify the root cause of failures.
· Replace faulty components, including main board, GPU, connectors, and other parts.
· Maintain detailed and accurate records of all diagnostics, repairs, parts used, and time spent on each unit.
· Log findings into a repair database or tracking system.
Requirement (Relevant or preferred):
Education Level: Associate's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
Work Experience: Proven experience (2+ years) in a repair, debug, or bench technician role.
Needed Skills:
Familiarity with Microsoft word, excel and power point
- Excellent technical skills
- May require lifting to 30-50 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Base Pay: $ $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
