Overview:

Proper Burger in Downtown Pensacola is searching for additional staff members as we head into the summer season. These seasonal opportunities can reach into the future as our companies grow and expand. Our kitchen is operated out of an on-site food truck that serves food with the help of FoH staff to an open floor plan. The ability to work as a team in a family friendly environment preferred. Duties:

  • Assist in food preparation and cooking in a fast-paced food truck environment with attached seating venue.

  • Refer to incoming tickets processed both online and at the window to provide necessary food items with adherence to specifications or food allergies.

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and service areas.

  • Processing orders and payments in company POS system. Paging customers when orders are ready.

  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers picking up to go orders.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during service hours.

  • Work with management on food/equipment needs for service on high volume days.

Skills:

  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.

  • Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers and staff.

  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards according to food safety regulations.
