Sr. Accounts Receivable Specialist

The Sr. Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for tracking WellSky's accounts receivable process. The scope of this job includes ensuring timely collection of payments and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with clients, internal teams, and external parties to ensure collection of receivable balances.
  • Maintain and distribute accounting documents, schedules, records, and metric reports.
  • Proactively work to identify client disputes and escalate and work with stakeholders to draft settlement proposals for review by management.
  • Calculate and post receipts to appropriate client accounts and verify details of transactions, such as funds received and total account balances.
  • Provide backup support to other groups in the accounting department.
  • Conduct account research and analysis and assist with system automation and integration projects, as needed.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • GED or high school diploma
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience

Job Expectations:

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed
  • Must work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information
  • Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time
